What You Need Before You Start

Step 1: Mount the Panel in a Standard 86 Wall Box

  3. Seat the panel into the box and secure the mounting screws
  4. Attach the faceplate — the 86×86mm cover sits flush with the wall

Step 2: Wire and Power Your Fixtures as Usual

This is the step where traditional systems eat your schedule. Here, there’s nothing special to do. Connect each fixture to mains power exactly as you would a normal downlight, track module, or strip light:

No control bus. No dimming wires. No home-run cabling back to a panel cabinet. Restore power, and the fixtures light up like ordinary LEDs. If a fixture lights up, the receiver is powered too.

Step 3: Pair the Panel with Its Fixture Group

Now introduce the panel to the lights. On the panel, long-press the On/Off button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The display confirms the panel is searching, and fixtures within range link to this panel’s group.

Step 4: Set Brightness and Color Temperature

With the group paired, the knob does the daily work. Tap the display to cycle between the two control channels:

Step 5: Save Your 3 Memory Scenes

The last step is what turns a dimmer into a lighting system. The panel has three scene slots — M1, M2, and M3 — that each remember a complete combination of brightness and CCT.

  1. Dial in a look you like (e.g., 100% brightness, 4000K for morning)
  2. Long-press the Memory button for 3 seconds — the look saves into the current slot
  3. Tap Memory to cycle M1 → M2 → M3, and repeat for each scene

A typical hotel room ends up with something like M1 “Welcome” (100%, 4000K), M2 “Reading” (70%, 3000K), M3 “Night” (10%, 2700K). Guests recall any of them with one tap — no app, no scenes to program in software, no commissioning visit.
